KRUGA STARTS WORK ON HIS FIRST FEATURE FILM 2DIE4!

KRUGA is currently working on his first feature film entitled 2DIE4 which will star a number of US and UK actors and also cameo's from some of the biggest names in Hip Hop and RnB. KRUGA has now started work on his first feature film which is set to be on general release sometime in 2011.

MEN LIE....WOMEN LIE.... BUT THE FACTS DONT!

Moving on from strength to strength KRUGA has now set up his own independent film production company called GRIDLOC FILMS. ‘Men Lie…Women Lie…But the Facts Don’t’, was written and directed by KRUGA in association with Ben ‘Mestor’ of Dansac Pictures and explores the issues of relationships, love and betrayal. Based on a true story and filmed in London, the film addresses a number of social issues - one in particular which is so often overlooked. It follows the story of Ryan CLINTON, a young man known on the streets as 'SHANKZ' and the events which lead to a gruesome discovery late one summer afternoon. The film got its first screening at the BAFTA on 26/10/11 and was warmly received. Starring Tanya Vital (Emmerdale Farm, Holby City) and Phoenix James (Romeo is Dying, Dora, Road to F.A Cup), alongside a number of other talented actors - the short film is set to be a success and has already been accepted into a number of film festivals. Dead Man Running is a British gangsta film written and directed by Alex De Rakoff and produced by Pikki Fearon.

 

After an increasing number of his clients fail to make good on their payments, Mr Thigo (Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson) decides to take matters into his own hands, travelling to London to make an example of debtor Nick (Tamer Hassan). Thigo gives Nick just 24 hours to pay back the £100,000 he owes him - and, just to make sure, holds Nick's wheelchair-bound mother (Brenda Blethyn) as a hostage. Since Nick is already financially challenged, he's going to have to use his imagination to come up with the money. KRUGA plays Mr Thigo's personal Henchman and ensures that any oustanding debts are fully paid up........!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  


SOLE REDEMPTION

KRUGA's recently been cast for a major part in the fourth coming feature film 'SOLE REDEMPTION'.

SOLE REDEMPTION is set in Nigeria in the fallout of a military coup, a small group of ex-pats are sent from the city to a poor isolated village to offer their assistance, but dark things are happening in the village and the surrounding area. The villagers live in fear of rebel soldiers and macabre ju-ju rituals. The group rescue a young child in need of help. They take her into their care, intending to bring her back to a safe refuge. The group, led by Moses, a Nigerian born ex-US marine who was taken from his motherland at a young age, begin a perilous journey through the heart of the land that will take them to the limits of their fears. They will uncover dark truths along the way and find the lengths they will go to too protect each other and themselves.  Courage will be tested, sacrifices will be made but will it be enough to redeem lost souls? For evil lurks in the hearts of men. The film is being produced by Kayfabe Films.

Its only right I hooked up with the LexZyne team to help collaborate on my album. Ya know I've been doing this for a minute, worked with nuff producers, but these guys are serious!!

The founding ideal behind LexZyne Productions, is that they make music that THEY like to listen to. Their passion for music was birthed in the 70’s era of Soul and R&B, and eventually progressed to hip-hop where it has since, had a firm hold. As their love for music has grown and been nurtured by the evolution of Hip-Hop, they are ‘those hip-hop heads’ that draw a thin line between what is defined as ‘REAL’ hip-hop from what the younger generation may label as ‘REAL’.

These guys never stop working.. and although they on the constant GRIND of the music business, their insatiable LOVE for the culture is too strong to allow them to get lost in the money to compromise their passion for a price-tag.
